Composite spats are manufactured to Pitts dimensions. They can be manufactured with or without a former immediately aft of wheel aperture to avoid build up of mud in rear of spat.

These spats are handed left and right with additional glass reinforcement on inner face for the attachment of the spat to the undercarriage leg.

Brake fairings are available to fit spring gear undercarriage legs and spat and will accept a Cleveland brake caliper. Brake fairings will accept either front, rear or bottom mounted brake caliper depending on how fairings are trimmed.

Lay-up of the spats is optimised to give a light weight yet robust structure and examples have successfully withstood many years of service without cracking.

Available in glass or carbon fibre reinforced plastics- please state which.
